About River's Edge Metalworks
Shortly after the birth of their 3rd child, in 2015, Kirsten & her husband, Nate, short on time and full of creativity, birthed the idea for River's Edge Metalworks. Kirsten had the creators eye, and Nate the technical expertise to venture into laser-cut metalwork. Kirsten (through the "university of YouTube", trial and error, and many early mornings and late nights) learned the laser's design software and opened River's Edge Metalworks.
Initially, Kirsten was inspired by sheet metal art made popular by Joanna Gaines and her HGTV show "Fixer Upper". Creating beautiful, personal and unique home décor she got her feet wet in the laser-cut metal sign business. But it didn't take long before a greater opportunity arose - creating business signs, ranch signs and signs for neighborhoods and sub-developments. The River's Edge Metalworks Etsy shop is still open and selling popular home decor but the business focus is now greatly on large-scale pieces.
River's Edge Metalworks is proud to be a woman & mama owned & operated business in beautiful Western Washington.
